ITEM DESCRIPTION

The emulator is a diagnostic device which sends to an airbag control unit the same signal as that sent by the seat occupancy sensor while the passenger is sitting. It turns off the airbag indicator (if it is caused by faulty seat occupancy sensor) and the airbag works as if the passenger was sitting in it.

 INSTALLATION

Turn the ignition off. Locate the seat occupancy sensor connector under the passenger seat. Disconnect it and connect the emulator connector instead. Usually it is needed to reset the fault code using proper diagnostic software after the installation.
