It is a diagnostic device for testing. It is universally applicable and can be used for all BMW models with a faulty battery safety terminal.
It sends to the car’s computer information that a battery safety terminal is intact. After installation the airbag/srs indicator can be easily switched off using diagnostic machine.
It does not affect other SRS components. In case of a collision all properly working airbags will be deployed!
You can use the emulator in every model of BMW. The pictures in the instructions show E60 and E90 model. Please remember that in your car it can look a little different.
The installation should be performed by a professional mechanic, knowledgeable in the SRS. We can share our knowledge and experience with you, but should the problem become more complex, you need to possess an adequate knowledge for us to be able to help you.
The emulator should be connected in place of Battery Safety Terminal (BST).

Find the wire that connects BST with the car installation.
Connect the emulator to the car installation. To this end, cut the wire connecting BST with the car installation and fit the emulator instead of BST.
