PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The device is manufactured in the EU and tested.
LED indicators signal its proper operation.
When connected to the car's installation, it emulates the function of the electronic steering lock. It is used in case of a damaged (or removed) electronic steering lock. The ESL emulator replaces the original ESL signal and allows ignition and vehicle start. To make the emulator work, the original ESL unit should be in the unlocked position or removed.
The ESL series tester is an easy-to-connect yet advanced diagnostic device used as a short-term temporary bypass until the original electronic steering lock is replaced.
It is distinguished by its simple construction and uncomplicated installation, but for safety reasons, the installation should be carried out by a qualified person.
INSTALLATION
Below is a simplified installation procedure (detailed manual with device description - link below):
- Remove the housing under the steering wheel and find the appropriate plug.
- Connect the emulator in place of the ESL according to the appropriate scheme for the given car model (connection details - link below).
- After connecting the emulator, try turning the key.
