Seat occupancy sensor emulator for European Mercedes A-Class W169 with 3 wired seat occupancy sensor.

On A W169 there may be also 2 wired seat mat - this emulator doesn't fit 2 wired seat occupancy sensor - please check it before purchase. We have a different emulator for 2 wired seat mat - check our items or contact us.

If you have US version Mercedes, please check under the seat if mat connector looks exactly the same and has 3 wires inside - brown, red, white. This emulator doesn't fit US version Mercedes with WSS system (4 wired seat mat).

The seat occupancy sensor emulator is equipped with an original Mercedes connector - easy installation.
The seat belt buckle emulator is ended with terminals (we add it only if you attach to your order the information that you need it - more information below).

ITEM DESCRIPTION

The emulator is a diagnostic device which sends to an airbag control unit the same signal as that sent by the seat occupancy sensor while a passenger is sitting. It turns off the airbag indicator (if it is caused by faulty seat occupancy sensor), the airbag works as if the seat was always occupied.

After installing the seat mat emulator, a car computer sees a passenger seat as always occupied and - if the car is equipped with seatbelt warning system - the unfastened seat belt warning light/sound appears. The seatbelt emulator turns it off. If there is seat belt warning system on your car, you need the seat belt emulator - please attach to your order information if you need it or not. Without the information that you need the seatbelt emulator as well, it will not be added.

The seat occupancy sensor plug has 3 wires - red, white, brown.

When the emulator is installed, you MUST NOT use child seat in the front seat because airbag will always work in case of an accident!
