ITEM DESCRIPTION
The device is manufactured in the EU and has been thoroughly tested.
The OCS series tester is an easy-to-connect yet advanced diagnostic tool designed to detect faults in the SRS system.
When connected to the vehicle's wiring, it emulates the operation of a functioning seat occupancy sensor and sends a signal to the airbag control unit indicating that an adult is seated.
LED indicators provide visual confirmation of proper operation.
It features a simple design and straightforward installation. However, for safety reasons, installation should be performed by a qualified professional with knowledge of SRS systems.
Below is a simplified installation procedure (a detailed manual with a full device description - link below):
-
Turn off the ignition.
-
Locate the seat mat connector under the passenger seat and replace it with the emulator’s plug.
-
In many cases, the warning light will turn off automatically (if it was triggered by a faulty seat mat). If the light remains on after turning the ignition back on, clear the error using appropriate diagnostic software.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
1. A reliable diagnostic tool (an external device connected via OBD2) is essential for identifying faults.
2. The tester is intended for diagnosing issues within the SRS system. By emulating the function of a working seat occupancy sensor, it helps confirm or rule out a fault in the corresponding component.
3. If the SRS fault related to the seat occupancy sensor cannot be cleared after connecting the tester, this indicates that the tester has fulfilled its purpose — it confirms that the issue lies within the SRS system itself. This suggests the original seat occupancy sensor is likely functioning correctly, and the root cause may be found in the vehicle’s wiring or the airbag control unit.
4. The tester (emulator) is not an original vehicle component and is not a certified replacement for the factory-installed seat occupancy sensor. It does not have road-use homologation.
5. All work involving the SRS system should be carried out by a qualified professional with expertise in SRS systems.
