To install the emulator:

1. Turn the ignition switch OFF.

2. Locate the connector under the passenger seat mat - grey 3-pin connector. Towards the seat running 3 wires - white, brown and red.

3. Disconnect the mat plug and plug in the emulator.

And that’s all!

Often customers have a problem with finding the correct plug. The occupancy sensor plug is located in the front side of the seat. In the back side there are two another plugs: white and yellow. Sometimes the occupancy sensor plug may be hidden somewhere in the seat. In this situation it is best to find the plugs that are in the back side of the seat and follow the wire towards the seat (not the car installation).

 

If the engine is switched on and detected by the computer emulator error is not cleared automatically (lamp on the dash will continue to be on) it should be clear by dedicated diagnostic software.

 

OTHER INFORMATION

The emulator can be installed in place of the connection mats informing about the occupation of the Passenger seat and will provide a signal to the controller. Properly installed emulator guarantees the protection of the passenger by airbag in the event of a collision. When installing the emulator does not matter if the passenger is on the seat - Air bag reliably fulfill its functions even without a passenger, that is going to work even when passenger seat is vacant.

 

ATTENTION !!! 

After installing emulator mounting of child seat opposite direction to the direction of travel in the passanger seat is prohibited – in case of collision airbag will work!

 

Mounting and stripping parts of providing security can only be carried out by authorized service center. Emulator is for testing purposes only - check the proper operation of the airbag. Do not leave it in the car instead of a replacement mat for the new!
