It is a diagnostic device for testing. It is universally applicable and can be used for all BMW models with faulty seat belt tensioners, both on driver's and passenger's side.
It sends to the car’s computer information that a seat belt tensioner is intact. After installation it easilly switches off the airbag/srs indicator and it stays off.
It does not affect other SRS components. In case of a collision all properly working airbags will be deployed!
You can use the emulator in every model of BMW.
The installation should be performed by a professional mechanic, knowledgeable in the SRS. We can share our knowledge and experience with you, but should the problem become more complex, you need to possess an adequate knowledge for us to be able to help you.
The emulator should be connected in place of the seat belt tensioner.
The pictures in the instructions show E46 model.
