Installation instructions - SUZUKI USA - Vitara, Grand Vitara, SX4

Installation of the emulator is simple. Follow the instructions above:

1. Turn the ignition off.

2. Under the passenger side seat, find a white 3-pin mat plug with 3 wires: white, red and brown. The connector has been marked in the pictures below.

3. Disconnect this plug and connect the emulator plug instead.

4. If your car is equipped with seat belt buckle sensor, after connecting the seat mat emulator a car computer will always "see" the seat as occupied and will ask to fasten seat belt (seat belt warning light/sound appears). In order to get rid of it, you need to connect the seat belt emulator, which was included with the seat mat emulator, to car installation. The seat belt buckle wires are marked with orange color in the picture. In different cars, this connection may look different so before connecting, make sure that what you've found is the connection of the seat belt buckle! Please remember to connect it to the car's installation, not to the seat belt buckle.

5. After the installation, it is usually needed to reset the fault code using proper diagnostic software.

Please remember - when the emulator is installed you MUST NOT use child seat in the front seat! IN CASE OF A COLLISION AIRBAG WILL WORK!
